My name is Joseph Davis. I have been Owner/Curator of Joseph Davis Antiques for 35+ Years. I specialize in 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts, Cleveland School, and Italian and French Decor. I became interested in buying/selling antiques when I was just eight years old. My Aunt Rose use to take me to all the art galleries, Museums, and Asian Sculptural Gardens growing up in Seattle, Washington. I began dealing with antiques, when I purchased my first piece of Rookwood Pottery at age nine. From that point, I started buying and selling American Art Pottery (Roseville, Rookwood, and Weller). After moving to Cleveland when I turned 18, I discovered Cowan Pottery and became hooked. I have always had an interest in Wiener Werkstatte and Austrian Artwork. Finding out there was a connection with Cowan Pottery's Artist Victor Schreckengost and Wiener Werkstatte was totally fascinating. Afterwards, I began collection and dealing in Late 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts including: Art Nouveau, Art Deco, French-Italian Furnishings, Bronze and Marble Sculpture and Statuary, Hollywood Regency, and Mid-Century Modern to 1980's Miami Chique.
